    Lightbulb 3d Holographic Cellphones

#3dPrinting is really paving its way to the world. I love the idea of a holographic phone, and I am looking forward for it to be implemented! What are your thoughts about this? http://3dprint.com/86444/holograph-viewer-3d-printed/

The basic idea of using hologram technology in a smartphone is that we would be able to project a 3D image into space at a certain short distance away from the device.

That said, it's already possible to see holograms on our phone using Virtual Presence units. The concept of a holo-phone probably means re-thinking the idea of what a phone is. If you stop light with a screen or a filter, we can create holograms.

So the concept of holo-phones is merely a kind of augmented reality. Augmented reality is more a data overlay designed to enhance our everyday lives contextually, while holography is an incredibly powerful way of engaging with visual content.

AT&T and Verizon announced they will start selling a holographic smartphone later this year. The Red Hydrogen One smartphone is the first phone from video equipment company Red. The Android phone's amazing feature is a "holographic display" that projects 3D images that can be viewed without special glasses.
    thanks
