Gender change on sst1200es to Fortus 250mc
Was wondering if anyone has attempted to do a gender change from a sst1200es to Fortus 250mc.
I found a post on the forum asking this but with no information relating to the change over.
Doing the work around doesn't work for the newest insight and the there seem to be some features missing.
Was hoping someone has attempted this before I try it myself.

Same procedure as changing from uprint SE to uprint.
Google it. There was a PDF somewhere here.
Different genders but same steps.

It might be impossible to change 1200 sst to fortus because they are mechanically different.
As I know only 1200bst can be converted to fortus 250 mc because both of them mechanically the same (both have only one heater cartridge for both model and support material)
1200 sst has 2 independent candidates
Correct me if I am wrong.

sst1200es, bst1200es, and Fortus 250mc have two independent heaters.

May you tell me, why you want to change the SST1200es to the 250MC? IMO all advatages can be achieved without the need to change the gender:
- Using Insight
- Add Slice hight 0.007
- Increase available build sice to 10.3 x 10.3 x 12
- Use SR30 Support
Refill gewuenscht? PM auch gerne auf Deutsch!
Printer: Stratasys Dimension sst 1200es | HP Designjet 3D (aka Stratasys uPrint)
Refill-Systems: RPi 3 B & Arduino UNO clone

latest version of insight doesnt work anymore.
if i can make it look like a 250mc, it will be more futureproof for insight.
also, the 0.007 slice height clogs up my printhead. Too much filament is being pushed through i think.
