    FDM Vantage to Fortus mod

So, I currently have the opportunity to purchase (very cheap) an old FDM Vantage in what seems to be pretty good condition. I'm hoping I could use it as a cheap machine for high temperature materials.

I found a service online offering a conversion mod to upgrade a Vantage to a 400mc as apprently the machines are nearly identical. However, they are charging a very large fee for this service and I'm not rich. Can anyone explain the process involved in modding the Vantage to a Fortus, and how I could do it myself?

It would certainly influence my decision on whether or not to purchase the machine. I'd rather not waste money buying it only to later find out I can't afford/am unable to get the machine to do what I want.

So a "gender change" seems to be what I'm after right?
