chip emulation with OneWireHub or another way?

    Hi!
I got uPrint SE from auction. Cartridges are empty and I can't buy a new pair.
Planning to switch gender to uPrint and make an emulated chip on AVR microcontroller.
I am an electronic engineer, but not so good in coding so asking for help.

1 Anyone tryed solve this task?
2 uPrint chip command system are the same as DS2433 or DS2431 or other?
3 Is it need a full implementation of SHA protection?
4 Maybe someone can help me with material bay cable pinout? I don't have it also.

    Hope for your help...

I just tried to switch my uprint SE plus to a regular uprint plus a few days ago and I couldn't get it to work. Changed gender on the SBC (PAIA), rebooted and serial remained the same, changed gender on the CB to match (uprint10), left serial on CB unchanged as it already matched the original. Was met with code error 15.1 after downgrading the firmware. Couldn't figure out the problem so I had to revert back, would be curious if you can get it work.

I was considering trying to emulate something similar but for the older Fortus/Dimension cartridges. I have a few experiments to do yet with this, I am unsure how it may compare to the uPrint machines but I will let you know if I get anywhere with it in case its helpful.

Did not get my machine yet. It still in Japanese warehouse.
But I'll do the gender changing procedure and let you know.
Can you make a bay cable pinout for me, please? Can't find it anywhere...

    to GearheadRed:
uPrint have a SHA encryption so it is more complicated for emulation that DS2433 in Dimension series.
But anyway I am very interested.
If I'll be you, I'll stay with the original chip, make an automated arduino resetter with a button and simple relay system that disconnects chip from the printer and connects it to the resetter for flashing by pressing one button. But full emulation is much more interesting way.

Actually, am downgrading from uPrintSE to just uPrint. Not Plus.
My serial number not changed automaticly also. I found a serial number on the google photos and put it in machine.cfg. Then changed serial number in CB.
Maybe serial number should be changed to something different for the correct gender change, or maybe there is a numbers range for a each gender.

Figured out how to make a material bay cable also
