But you could't use the Hips as a breakaway material.

For a BST768 the temperatures are a little bit lower. Just dont change the Temps and do a test part.

    BST 768 has no display

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

BST 768 that was working fine one day and no display the next. Reviewed some discussions here and checked that power was coming in past breaker and past the initial power PCB in the back of the unit, and that there were no burnt component on the board at all. No fan was running either. Anything else I can check?

Normal there is also a grounding-cable mounted on the backside of the Display? Is it ok? First check all fuses on the back of the Printer. Maybe You have luck?

Connect with a serial cable and check the output. If the LCD Display doesnt show any text there must be an error befor the boot process.

I did buy the esun Hips from Amazon.
The Nunus Hips works great too.

    SST 768 boot issues

Hi, I just my hands on our sst 768 that has some issues. first of all when I attempt to turn on the unit I does the initializing moves the table up then says out of Material.

Only the resume button is active on the front. I am currently in search of a serial cable to connect to printer to see if there are any errors.

it looks like someone shut off the machine and puled out the cartridge and tried to pull out the material from the machine but the material broke right at the entrance hole.

I have attempted to put the same material cartridge in before it boots and after but it will not pick it up ot go past that menu.

    Any idea's?
