longer prints failing due to filament binding

    Hi all,

I've got about 3 weeks time with 3D printing. Generally, I can make small things from Thingiverse, etc with no problems.

When I try to print bigger things -- like a 10+ hour print -- it repeatedly fails due to the filament binding on the spool. When that happens, the filament feed stops and the "print" continues without any filament being present.

The roll of filament was new from Amazon and prints much better than the demo filament.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong??
