    Printing Material Question

I was hoping someone could help me understand the different 3d printing materials, what material manufacturers such as Michelin are using to make their airless tires?

I have a specific design in mind and the material would require similar rigidity/elasticity characteristics to the airless tires. The product I want to design would essentially use the airless tire resistance and elastic memory concept in a cylindrical shape to act as a shock-absorber.

If I can get this idea out of my brain and onto a print bed want to release it for free download (a creative commons license) to disrupt a very small niche market where people are getting price gouged in a market cornered by three main manufacturers that are price fixing.

The material have to hold up to near-linear stresses in an automotive application. Performance, Cost, and service life are the most important priorities.
