Creality CR-10 S5 upgrades for flexible filament

My wife wants to start making armor and I'm helping her with the technical side of things. After looking around online, I've bought a Creality CR-10 S5 that arrives next week. It's really important that I get as much right from the beginning as I can as I'm the tinkerer and I don't want her to get frustrated and drop the project. I will buy whatever I need to buy to make this work for her, but can't go hog wild to the tune of thousands of dollars.

I apologize for all of the questions, it just seems that the more I learn, the more questions I have.

I plan to print with 3D Solutech Natural Clear 1.75mm Flexible 3D Printer Filament. She will probably want to use other filaments in the future, especially carbon fiber.

Do I need a direct drive system or should I stick with an extruder?
If I get a direct drive system, is there one in particular to look at?
If I stick with an extruder:
Should I get a Capricorn Bowden PTFE Tubing XS Series bowden tube?
Should I get a Flexion or some other brand of extruder?

Should I get an all-metal hot end?
Would this help her later if she wants to print in carbon fiber?

I've read that the heated bed on the S5 leaves much to be desired and plan to replace it.
Do I simply replace it with an orange silicone heating pad?
Do I need to get a removable bed sticker and do these work together?
I was planning to get a BLTouch Auto Bed Leveling Sensor
    Does this work with those?
Does this take the work out of leveling the bed?

I am going to build her an enclosure to stop fumes as she has asthma and plan to have this meet up with the one for the laser cutter and vent outside. I have plans for this and an electrician coming to hook it up.

I am going to support the frame of the printer with aluminum rods.

I've then seen a whole host of upgrades and don't know which are important and which aren't. I'd rather be safe than sorry, however.
    Stepper dampers
    Parts cooling fan duct?
    TL smoothers
    Upgraded bearings and rollers

As I said above, I really want her to succeed with this as she may turn it into a career. While we certainly aren't rich, I want to give her the best chance I can.

    Thanks in advance,
