    Good afternoon robocular,

What is the size limitation of the scanner?
What type of file does a scan create and what formats will it export?

Can it scan a part like the one in the image below and recreate accurate geometry both inside and out in the same file?

    Have a terrific weekend!

Robert, I can answer a few of your questions based on what I've seen online - 7x7x7 or 9x9x9 are their scan sizes.
exports to a bunch (4) of formats including OBJ, PLY, STL, XYZ.

Based on my read through of their information, the part would readable, but my take some steps to position properly?
I would rather they answer for sure though.

My suggestion on the kickstarter, not the product, is that there be a step or two between $25 and $499, you seem to have gotten quite a few backers, but that jump in reward and in cost is intimidating.

    Good morning Para,

Thanks for the info, I appreciate it. I'll keep an eye on this one.

If you have any experience using a good, high quality 3D Scanner I'd like to hear about it.

    Have a terrific weekend!

It looks like this was a Kickstarter project in 2014 that didn't meet its goal. So it's not a product that actually exists, as far as I can tell.
