Did you know that 3D animation is used in motion stop animations?

Iron Man and RoboCop did use 3D printing to generate ultra-realistic costumes. Zero Dark Thirty also get their super advanced goggles (which is not real, because original model costs 60000$ to get) through 3D Printing.
